I gave this coffee 5 stars because it totally changed my attitude toward African coffees. Previously, when buying from other sources, I tried African coffees a number of times – mainly because some of my friends would praise them so highly. After avoiding them for several years, I decided to try once again to see what my friends liked so much. I purchased the Tanzania Peaberry. What a surprise! Chocolaty aroma for sure, dark chocolate at that. I followed up by trying several other African coffees and found that they were becoming conspicuous among my favorites. One in particular, a Rwanda Peaberry. Outstanding. If you have not cared for African coffees before, I suggest you try these and explore from there. I grind by the cup for a French press. My first cup of coffee every morning is my reward for waking up.
