White & Oolong Teas

Oolong tea leaves are from the same plant that produces black and green tea leaves. The difference between oolong, black and green tea is in the length of fermentation of the leaves. Black tea leaves are fully fermented, Oolong comes from leaves that are partially fermented and green tea leaves are unfermented. There are numerous styles of oolong tea with a wide variety in flavors which can range from sweet and fruity to woody and thick to green and fresh. Aroma complexity depends on both horticulture techniques and style of production.
