Colombia has been producing great coffee beans since the early part of the 19th century. During the last century, coffee has become Colombia’s main export. The main coffee growing regions in Colombia are: Antioquia, Risaralda, Norte de Santander, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Quindío, Caldas and Bucaramanga.
The Bucaramanga region lies in the Santander department in northern Colombia. Bucaramanga is famous for having more than 160 parks, giving them the nickname, “La Ciudad de Los Parques.” But what Bucaramanga is most known for is it’s fantastic coffee bean.
Santander is known for it’s natural, shade-grown coffees cultivated throughout the forests, where the rich volcanic soils, idyllic microclimates and average temps (68-71°F) are perfect for growing specialty grade arabica.
This coffee makes a rich and delicious, with a pleasant aftertaste that lingers. The flavor of our Bucaramanga arabica coffee is medium but with good smooth balanced body. Try it for yourself to enjoy that #perfectcup!
