Our Ethiopia Limu is a carefully crafted blend of coffees from three distinctive Ethiopian regions. At it’s core, this coffee is from Jimma zone sits southwest of Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. A high-altitude plateau of remarkable fertility, the Jimma region produces some of Ethiopia’s most prized coffees. Especially notable are those from the Limu, Gera, and Goma districts, known for their vibrant acidity and sweet, delicate fruit notes.

Another local treasure is the region’s distinctive “white” honey, made by bees that forage from coffee and forest blossoms—an unforgettable sensory experience. Coffees from this area, along with those from nearby Illubabor, are often labeled “Limu.” Though not a formal geographic designation, “Limu” reflects a shared terroir and cup profile unique to this lush corner of the country. These Arabica cherries are grown at 1900 meters, where the cool climate and rich soil contribute to their vibrant character.

Harvested between October through December, the cherries are dried in a way that enhances their fruity and floral notes. The result is a beautifully balanced cup with layered notes of yellow peach, blueberries, black tea, floral, sweet rounded out by a smooth, buttery body and a hint of creaminess.

Perfect for drip brewing that #perfectcup, especially with your trusted automatic coffee maker. Ethiopia Limu offers a comforting, flavorful experience in every cup.
