A very special coffee, this coffee is. This coffee from Finca El Porvenir was in contention for the 2009 El Salvador Cup of Excellence program in which I was a member of the international jury there participating in the judging of these very fine coffees. (See our Finca Los Planes (C.of E. 2009)
Once the competition was complete, as I was reading over my score sheets, I saw this one coffee that I scored fairly high, but I "starred" this coffee with a note, "Find this coffee!" I persuaded my friend & colleague, Chris Davidson of Atlas Coffee Importers to bring this coffee in for me. He did so and now I have it. You should have some, too!
